Juli and Neal were married at Gingerwoods Event Hall in Prospect, Ky. Prospect is located about 20 minutes from downtown Louisville. Juli and Neal’s ceremony was outside with the reception following inside the event room. Gingerwoods is a beautiful location that offers many amazing oppurtunities for wedding photography. A MEMORABLE MOMENT: All day we were concerned about the weather. Right before the ceremony started, thunder could be heard nearby. Luckily, the rain held off for the ceremony, & only sprinkled later in the evening. It was definitely a hot one, but we were just happy that we didn’t get rained out!

Jillian and Casey decided to see each other first at the site of their reception, the Mellwood Arts Center. The bride and groom seeing each other before the ceremony still allows to have a very intimate first look, but also to have a much greater flexibility in their wedding photography timeline.

Emily and Matt were married at the beautiful church, Ascension Catholic Church in Louisville, Ky. Their reception followed at the J-Town (Jeffersontown, KY) Community Center. The area provided some unique shots including some wedding photos with a tank and the couple playing cornhole. At the end of the night the wedding party went to opening night of the Churchill Downs springmeet, which again offered some unique wedding photos.

Terra and Tim had one big day of a wedding and wedding photography. The day started off at father of the groom, where the bride was getting her hair and make up ready. Then after putting on the dress, we proceeded to Papa John’s Park to let Terra and Tim see each other for the first time. Success, what a great day and moment for everyone involved!
After that we headed to St. Gabriel’s church on Bardstown Road for their ceremony, and then off to The Old Medical School building in downtown Louisville to finish off the grand day. What an amazing day for a lot of amazing wedding photography!

There is nothing more brave than those who serve our country. They do it without reserve, without question and with honor. Often times we are reminded about our soldiers, home and oversees by what is portrayed in the media or by those we know that serve or affected by someone that serves. And it’s a good reminder, but often times we forget about those they have left at home.
Today was a very special day for Jason Holzworth Photography. Kacy has not seen her fiance for four long months. Today Jerry finally made it home from what is hopefully his last tour of war.
After several flight delay’s, the moment had arrived!
Jason Holzworth Photography was at Louisville’s International Airport, and we were very grateful to be able to document this long and over due homecoming.
