Kelsey and Weston met at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY. Their ceremony was at Begley Chapel near where they first met and where Weston Proposed. The chapel was very unique in how it let sunlight in. The day was beautiful, but not as beautiful as the bride. At the end of the night, Jason Holzworth Photography Photographer Nathan followed Kelsey and Weston back to the Seelbach for some more intimate photos. It was an amazing day for wedding photography.
Here are some words Straight from the Bride
where was it: Begley Chapel at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY. It was right near where Weston and I first met and where Weston proposed to me.
theme or style: We didn’t really have a set theme, but it was a very personalized wedding. We are close with the owners at the Cafe on the Square and they did everything from our decor to our cake, food, and flowers. They really incorporated things that are meaningful to us and fit our style such as wildflowers, trees/carved tree stumps as decor, earthy/organic tones, mason jars, coffee, bicycles, etc.
bride’s dress: David’s Bridal
bride’s shoes: Kimchi Blue
jewelry/accessories: earring and necklace were from JC Penny and I also wore a hummingbird brooch that was my grandmother’s.
hair/makeup: one of my best friends and bridesmaid, Whitney Hall
groomsmen: Jimmy Mai, Madison Hamman
wedding favors: Packages of homemade cookies from Cafe on the Square and personalized cowbells
the flowers: (i’ll have to get back to you on this. the Cafe on the Square were in charge of the flowers but I’m not sure where they got them from)
the cake: Cafe on the Square
invitations & stationary: I found them all on ETSY, but I don’t remember which store on ETSY
food & drink: Cafe on the Square catered gourmet sandwiches and salads, pita & hummus, veggies & dip, crackers & cheese, homemade teas, coffee, and mini sandwich appetizers
the honeymoon: Asheville, NC
a memorable moment: spending a few minutes with Weston prior to the ceremony (each of us were on one side of a the corner of a wall so we wouldnt actually see each other) and getting to exchange letters, gifts, and pray together before exchanging vows.
